Getting your story out there and seeing how people react. I find it incredible interesting how different people perceive my stories. One will absolutely hate it and another will say it's the best thing since sliced bread. While I do obsess about my bad review, at least for a day or two, it gives me the motivation to do better.

Keep writing. Even if your book flops, keep writing. Every failure is a learning experience. Every bad review is insight to doing better. Remember it's a marathon, not a race.

I work on other projects. Sometimes will pester my hubs about plots and characters to get his input. I just keep writing, eventually my muse with rear it's ugly head and then I will disappear into their world for days on end.

Book three of the Elementalist and Guardian series. This will be the final book. So it is taking me longer.

My husband helps a lot. He reads all my books and edits them. When I get stuck, he pitches ideas at me.

It just came to me. I actually wrote this book back in my twenties, but when my computer crashed I gave up. Now I am in my thirties and the story wouldn't leave me alone.
