Take notes whenever you think of something. I called them memory joggers. Put them in a box. When you get ready to write, take them out and organize.

Marketing my book , but I am also writing for a medical blog "Authentic Medicine " started by my inspiration for sarcastic humorous writing Doug Farrago MD.

First I clear my head and to do list so I can concentrate and not get distracted. Then I gather all the information I have collected about a topic, organize it and start writing

As I was telling stories one day when we were waiting for patients to come in Meredith, my Xray tech, said "Dr Chase with all these stories, you should write a book." I thought for a minute and said "Maybe I will!"
