Jason Savin I spend much of my day thinking about writing, so when I do finally get the opportunity to sit down at my laptop, I find that the inspiration is already there waiting for me, as I've already written scenes in my thoughts throughout the day.
Jason Savin I find that writers block only really happens in the first draft. After that I'm just improving what I've written. But if I do get writers block, which is rare, I usually just move onto a different story, and write a tale that is more interesting to me at that time, one that ignites my passion.
Jason Savin I think I'd like to visit Middle-earth and hang out with the Elves to try and soak up some of their wisdom. Then maybe visit the Shire and invite some of the more interesting Hobbits to have a drink in the Prancing Pony.
Jason Savin Keep editing until you're happy. Then find a good editor to further improve your work. Don't skip either of these 2 stages.
Jason Savin I'm quite a slow reader, but I'm hoping to read the whole of the Lord of the Rings trilogy within the next year.
Jason Savin I'm writing a book called 'Kings of Munster'. It has taken me over 9 years to write, so far, and should be finished late next year. It is a tale of the legendary kings of Ireland, told from the point of view of a Munster storyteller. It should appeal to anyone interested in Irish history, mythology and genealogy. From this book many people will be able to find which heroes that they are descended from.
Jason Savin He slumped at the wheel, just before the car sped down the bank, rapidly accelerating out of control. It burst through the bushes at the bottom, shooting out towards the sea, whilst the terrified passenger screamed helplessly as her baby in the rear cried.
