The most recently published book of 100-word stories was an angry response to a pay cut by a popular online publisher. I was trying to prove that their excuses were disingenuous and illogical. I left the platform before I could fully illustrate that I was correct, but I became enamored of the microfiction genre in the process. Humans, Being is getting great reviews, so I am happy I was able to turn the negative into a positive.
