E. Nigma I've worked in the call center for over 20 years, and there are a lot of stories that goes on in those walls that are hilarious to me. While the story of The Professionals is fictitious, some of the conversations, culture, and situations that happened in the book are 100 percent real. It's a story that's dying to be told, so I told it.
E. Nigma In between projects as of today. I finished book three of The Professionals, and I'm soon to release book one to the public. I have another idea in my head, but I'm just in the early stages currently.
E. Nigma Just write. Don't worry about edits the first go round, just write. Even if it's just a sentence, just write.
E. Nigma Controlling your own world. I disappear into my work often and even with the conflict my characters go through, to be able to control that world, almost playing God to the universe is fascinating to me. What I say goes, and some decisions are harder, no doubt, but to be in total control of a world... there's no greater feeling.
E. Nigma I take a step back and try to find my motivation. I don't suffer from it often, but when I do it can either be from fatigue or loss of motivation. Especially in the middle of a story. Sometimes, it's best to take a break, go watch a film or series, something with great writing. The Wire and The Sopranos are two of my favorite shows with great writing I turn to when I need a jolt to the system.
E. Nigma To Danark (one of my books). Just to explore the strange world and join my characters in their battle against evil. I would love to taste the mushudia fruit. You have to read the book to understand that one :-)
