Can you tell us a two-sentence horror story?
H.K. Jacobs I detest horror stories...I live for romance...adventure...happy endings. Horror to me is the absence of dreams...or true love..or heroism.

If you could travel to any fictional book world, where would you go and what would you do there?
H.K. Jacobs Hogwart's...of course...who wouldn't?? I would try to be the heroine ---and befriend Hermione--who would definitely be my competition for top witch honors!

H.K. Jacobs I take a break--read for a bit or watch some truly binge-worthy Netflix!

H.K. Jacobs Write in small bites--I started with two pages a day and I think it kept my ideas and word choices fresh!

H.K. Jacobs Living life...everything around us is poetry in motion.

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
H.K. Jacobs I used my experiences as doctor, my travels, my real life relationships. You have to write what you know! This story was circulating in my head for about two years before I actually put it down on paper! I actually came up with most of it while I was putting my kids to sleep!
