Music is huge for me! I find listening to music not only helps kind of clear my head, but also sparks ideas. My book Always Beautiful was inspired by the song "Sooner or Later" by Mat Kearney. I couldn't get the lyrics out of my head and eventually started writing Lucky and Zeppelin's story which fits well with that song.

When struggling with writer's block I like to step away temporarily from the current WIP and write in another one. Sometimes I will take a few days to read or listen to music to try and spark new inspiration.

I think the best thing is the act of writing. I love writing because I find it therapeutic. It's a way to escape inside my head for a while and exist in a different dimension. I love telling stories and entertaining readers too!

Right now I am working on a novella for the Silver Series and developing a spinoff of the Silver Series featuring all new characters!
