My mother is the greatest influence on my writing. She has always inspired me with her own writing and writing from other authors and that bookish and creative environment she has been providing to me since I was only a baby. I love talking to her about plots from various works of literature may it be Shakespeare's Macbeth or Orwell's Animal farm.

Currently I am working on a coming-of-age novel that sparks the reality of life for teenage girls like me. As from what I have noticed and what I have observed this beautiful age of teen can be a wonderful experience for some yet for others it can be equally harsh. Along with that I am working on another collection of poetry with my mother Zuivere beside working on my own.

Being an aspiring writer myself (I am only in my early teens!) the only advice I personally can give is to read as much as possible and write. I am a habitual book worm and am always hooked into books by Jane Austen to the Bronte sisters! Along with that I always keep a diary and pen and just doddle around ideas experimenting with different tones and voices.

The best thing being a writer is for me that I get to follow my dream and land into this lovely world called writing. A world where I have that magical power to control and create glorious moments and evoke a range of emotion through the power of words.
