I have a few I'm cycling between: adapting my feature-length screenplay "Love Lost in a Boat" into a novel, a short story of mine called "Angler/Fish" from a few years back is getting a makeover, and I have a few ideas for new short stories that have been simmering for a while and might be just about ready to go into the oven!

"You Always Have a Choice" takes place at a fictional bed & breakfast called Grandma's House which, despite its cozy sounding name, is actually just about the most terrifying place you could end up. It was inspired by my actual Grandma's house which, despite its "creepy old house" vibe, was a beautiful home where many of my fondest memories were made until it burned down around the beginning of 2020.
I've been developing a decades-spanning mythology around the fictional version of the house; "Choice" is the first story set there, but many more lie ahead.
