Mona Andrei Alone. That’s pretty much how I felt ALL THE TIME when I was a young, single mother.

I wrote SUPERWOMAN: A Funny and Reflective Look at Single Motherhood to remind other single mothers that they are not alone.
Mona Andrei Inspiration usually stems from something deep within myself. Something I want or need to share because I feel that it will inspire others. Sometimes it's reflective, sometimes it's just something silly that happened, and other times it's a quirky perspective.
Mona Andrei I'm currently writing two books. One is a memoir-style book about achieving goals and living a successful life (however the reader defines 'success').

The second book I'm writing is a suspense/thriller about a serial killer. This is not a memoir.
Mona Andrei Write every day. Read every day. And when writing, always share your truth. If what you write scares you a little, you're on the right path :-)
Mona Andrei The best thing about being a writer is that I get to inspire others. I believe that we're 'here', not for ourselves, but to serve others. As a writer, I get to share my experiences and in the case of SUPERWOMAN: A Funny and Reflective Look at Single Motherhood, my hope is that I can help other single mothers to learn from my journey and challenges.
Mona Andrei When I have writer's block, I find that reading flares up the juices of inspiration.
