Hmmm. Giving this a lot of thought. One mystery is where Sassy AKA Nellie came from. She was found wandering the outskirts of an orchard, in another part of the state. She was very pregnant. Thankfully someone found her and she delivered 6 babies, 4 of whom lived. When I was lucky enough to rescue her I took her to the vet and there was an old bb in her head. What evil people had her? Why was she outcast? Was it because she was pregnant?

Write, write, write. And read voraciously every single day. Even if what you write doesn't go anyplace, it's good practice.

The use of imagination. The solitude which is important when I'm writing. I can make up characters and do what I want with them. I find it very rewarding and a lot of fun. And, no boss but yourself.

I do a lot of pacing. It's not really writer's block but a part in the story that I'm having trouble with. I turn it over in my mind and constantly think about different outcomes. And then, it just comes to me. But, it may take a week.

I've started book #2 in the Vivianne Murphy Mystery series. Now if I could figure out how to properly get my website going I'd have more time to write.
