I'm actually trying to push through a bunch of Cozy Mysteries. I'm currently reading one called "Clammed Up" by Barbara Ross. I'd like to try my hand at writing cozies soon. I have one in the infancy stages of writing on my computer.

I love storytelling and I love it when people are guessing or asking questions about what's next. By far my favorite thing, though, is when a twist or revelation occurs in a story and someone gets so excited that they can't stop talking about it.

My goal is to write every day. I try to get my first words in by 9 am and if I do that I find the story continues writing itself in my head all day. In essence, I give my subconscious the ability to get rid of the writer's block for me. This works most days. On days it doesn't I usually switch to a new story or chapter.

My mom won't stop texting me. I visit her grave and beg her to stop, but she won't listen.

I read "The Land of Stories" with my daughter. The concept is it takes place about 15 years after all of the fairy tales we grew up with and they all live in the same world. I think something like that would be a lot of fun to go and see.
