How do you get inspired to write?
Casey Cox Walking. Preferably on a beach at sunrise.

Ideas just flood my brain for some reason. That's why I always take my phone with me so that I can not down the ideas before I forget them (and to torture my friends with endless sunrise pics too!)

How do you deal with writer’s block?
Casey Cox So far - and touch wood - writer's block hasn't been a problem for me.

My biggest issue is actually deciding on which of the 40+ ideas on my "ideas spreadsheet" I should focus on next! #goodqualityproblems

What’s the best thing about being a writer?
Casey Cox For me, it's the fulfillment of a dream I've had since I was about 15 years old ( I turned 40 in 2020). So it's been a long time coming, but it's finally here and it feels...incredible!

Yes, it's hard/lonely/challenging/frustrating/scary at times, but it also feels like it's the absolute right thing that I'm meant to be doing with my life. And that's a feeling I've never experienced before. It makes all the hard stuff totally, one hundred percent worth it.
