I have been fortunate enough, that over the past 30 years, my job has allowed me to travel all over the world. This book is about my observations during these travels and what I have learned during my time abroad. It is about what I believe that we, the United States of America, can do better, regarding the economy, healthcare, education, the environment, and basic infrastructure.
I actually found the inspiration to write this book during a 20-minute stop in New Haven, Connecticut to change the engine from electric to diesel. I thought to myself, how in the world is this happening in this corridor of this country?

Just start writing. Make notes of your ideas on whatever topic your book is about. ideas will come to you, in the middle of the night, while taking a shower, driving in you car. When you get a chance write down these thoughts and start to formulate into a rough table of contents.
