Joel David Levin How the heck did I (a double-vaccinated germaphobe) contract a breakthrough case of COVID? And who gave it to me?

I wish Sherlock Holmes was around to help me solve this case...
Joel David Levin As I flipped through the warped, stained, soaking wet pages of the child's book, I gave him the kind of questioning look that librarians wear all too frequently.

With a sheepish shrug of his shoulders, he backed away and said, "It fell into the toilet."
Joel David Levin You write your way out of it. While it HURTS to delete pages of your own work, sometimes it takes a few dismal paragraphs of mediocre writing before you get yourself back on track.

Spoiler alert: the epilogue is going to take place in a post-COVID world, so I need to see how this pandemic ends before I can truly "finish" the new novel. Not to make things too murky, but it might be a while before I can accurately revise the denouement scene.
