I don't really have writer's block. I organize my book ahead of time via chapter structures and then write to that framework. Some chapters are exciting to write, and others are more caulking for the overall book in order to put context to other areas. If anything, I suffer more from "Writer's Laziness"!

Just do it. Feel free to write what you want freestyle, then come back and clean up after. Have a bit of an organization of how you want to construct your story and relate to those authors you have read, that keep you turning the pages on their books.

I am currently writing the prequel to the trilogy of my great great grandparents life and times, based on their 19th century participation in events such as the Civil War.

I wanted to be able to tell the story of my family and their participation in events, such as, the Civil War. I wanted to bring alive the great-great grandfather and grandmother based on the letters, legal documents and other artifacts for which I am the care taker.
