Getting to tell stories!
I love being able to step back from and work and say to myself, "Me, I made that. I started with a blank piece of paper and created something from nothing."

I try to push through it. I get some cleaning done so my messy kitchen doesn't distract me, and I put on my focus music and just force myself to sit down at my desk with my notebook. I often times supersize myself at what I write down when I think I can't.

I'm the type who works on multiple projects at once, I have issues focusing...
I'm almost finished drafting a horror novella. It follows a widowed psychiatrist in 1886 as he struggles with his own sanity and the possibility of something more sinister living in his hospital. I plan on publishing it in a collection of short terrors around Halloween 2020.
I'm also drafting Legends of Lightning book 2, Redemption. I am super excited for this one and I want to get a few other projects off my mind so I can give it the attention it deserves!
Third, I'm working on a quirky Urban fantasy. This one will be a very different tone from my other novels; I'm making more light heartened and fun. I want to release this one around Mothers day 2022 for my mom. She prefers reading fun stories. :)

I have a lot of nightmare, always have and probably always will. Anything I'm exposed to during the day has the potential to get wrapped into something terrifying at night. My current working series, Legends of Lightning, is the result of many such nightmares. I decided to organize them into a plot line following an imperfect heroine through a treacherous land filled with nightmares.
