Hiya!
I'm currently in the process of having my own hardbacks made. I won't be using Amazon's print-on-demand service, but they will be available on there.
Once they are on sale, they will all be shipped from Australia.

No.
As much as I would love to write one, the series is currently complete. <3

Oooft! That's a hard question to answer!
Orpheus was my number one for ages. He means so much to me, and there's just something about his sad boy, possessive energy that makes me swoon.
However... Nathair kind of championed him. I love my aquatic serpent bonedaddy, and his personality was just too charming for Orpheus to win against for me.

The series, although standalone romance stories, must be read in order.
There is an over-arching series plot, where each book is expanding on lore and world-building. Reading them out of order, or even skipping certain books, will make them confusing.
For instance, book 6, A Soul to Steal, is near impossible to read without the information from prior books. You also meet his twin in book 5, and find out how he got where he is. It start off immediately from book 5, and has an overlapping timeline.
I wouldn't suggest reading them out of order <3

I've never really given them an accent in my head, but if they did, maybe a really, *really* soft Australian accent that you can barely tell? Although... I do have specific words that are said in certain ways, like herb with a H!

I loved each book for different reasons.
ASTK felt like coming home. I loved Orpheus' stoic and sad boy energy, and I loved how Reia was a bratty woman who loves so hard she'll defend someone much bigger and scarier than herself.
ASTH was therapeutic. Delora follows a lot of my own past mental health issues, and it was so raw to write her on page and give true representation to it. I also loved writing Nameless, who was a himbo with the biggest heart.
ASTT was cheeky. I loved the playful banter from Faunus and Mayumi, but also how stern and cold-hearted Mayumi can be, as I can be a lot like that. It also made me cry writing it, and I love it when books make me cry.
ASTG was creatively fun. Writing about the Elves, their magic, and their world was a cool, and then Merikh's mean streak had me giggling. I loved Raewyn's character and how sunshine but take-no-one's-crap she was.
ASTR broke me in different ways and put me back together. I enjoyed how Emerie handled her trauma by using humour, while Ingram was just a naughty himbo that I'm glad makes people fan themselves. This is the peak of the series with the biggest climax, and all the emotions and planning the girls did really made me enjoy writing the book.
ASTS was challenging. I really loved how we learn more about the spirit of the void's world. I adore slow burns. The wandering gazes, the blushes, and my favourite: OMG, they finally held haaaaands. I also loved that Gideon got down on one knee. I thought it was cute.
ASTP may be close to being my favourite. I really love Nathair's character. He was funny, witty, cheeky, and came with double the trouble. His mind was also super naughty ;) . I really like reading serpent characters! I also enjoyed Linh and how she grew and evolved, and how Nathair was patient with her through her trauma, and how she was patient with learning *his* way to communicate. Also... the wedding!
ASTE was also very challenging. I always planned for Jabez to have a redemption arc with Zylah, but there were lots of challenges. Jabez was the only one who could wrap up the entire series with a nice pretty bow. I also really do love turning things on their head. For instance, we hate him because he's hurt our skull daddies, but when you flip the perspective to him, you can easily see how he came to be who he is, why he does what he does, and that not all his actions are as callous as they seem. We tend to sympathise with the person who is telling the story, which happens all too often in real life.
Zylah was probably the hardest character to write. I think I managed to make her sensual, but having a female monster be the main character came with its challenges.
Finally, the side story at the back of ASTE. Although it's from Jabez and Zylah's POV because it's in their book, I adored writing the family reunion and wish I could have extended it by switching POVs. We finally get everyone together, and there were a lot of hugs and fond words that needed to be shared.
As for the prequel featuring the Witch Owl and the spirit of the void that I'm currently writing... I'm having a lot of fun despite its challenges! It's an epic slow burn, that covers 2 books, so be prepared! (hide spoiler)]

Hi!
I'm unable to give accurate release dates for audibooks.
Since they are all duets, it takes a lot of time to produce them - especially when I have such tight deadlines like I do. It takes a lot to publish a book every 4 months!
A Soul to Touch should go live across all audiobook sites in the next week or so, as I've already hit publish! A Soul to Guide will, hopefully, be later this year.
For the rest, I'm hoping to finish the audiobooks for the main part of the Duskwalker Brides series by the beginning of 2027.

Hi!
I pulled The Aedus Chronicles from print due to being burned by multiple editors. That series was "professionally" edited 3 times, yet it continued to have errors in it. All my love and gusto for the series was drawn out of me for this reason, and now the idea of having to go back and re-edit it myself and then give it to my current editor makes me feel unwell.
I may come back to the series when it doesn't sit so terribly with me, but I also may not.

Hi!
The series grew to be 8 books. I wasn't originally going to write Nathair's story, but A Soul to Protect just came to me and I knew I needed to add it to the series. It's why the book is more of a standalone in comparison to the others.
I'm currently writing the prequel, which will be a very slow burn duet. It was cover from the arrival of the Demons to after A Soul to Embrace's side story.

Hi!
I'm an indie author so I self-publish.
My books are available in paperback on Amazon as well in bookstores through IngramSparks. The ebooks are in KU, which means they have to be exclusive to Amazon. My audiobooks are published through the third party publisher Findaway Voices, which allows them to be published wide across multiple audiobook sites, including Spotify and Audible.
You can find information on how to publish each of those formats through all three of those websites. Check out their FAQs for answers and tips!

Hi!
No, the series wasn't inspired by any lore in particular.
I'm actually not fond of people calling my Duskwalkers by that term due to cultural appropriation, as well as some tribes consider it to be offensive to be said or written. Not all! But some, and that's enough for me.
Thank you for the question! :)

I don't have exact dates, but they are coming. There are a lot of people involved, and since they are duet narration, they require lots of extra work. The male narrator won't change, but the female narrators will change for every book.
Opal Reyne
I would suggest reading the series in order, as the series has an overall series arc.

Hi!
Yes, I plan to write a prequel at the end of the series featuring Weldir and Lindiew. It will likely be a duet, and will span hundreds of years before the Duskwalker Brides series started, and end after it's close.

The audiobook for A Soul to Keep is almost done, so I will be releasing it soon. There won't be a preorder link, so once it's ready, it'll be available.

I'm hoping to do hardcovers once I'm a little more on my feet and can look into making them as pretty and as special as possible. I'd love to have foil and sprayed edges.

I would say many things inspired me to write this series.
The anime, The Ancient Magus' Bride, really drew me deeper into the love I already had for skull headed monsters. So, I asked multiple fb groups if there were any smutty skull headed monster books I could read. Not one person could give me a recommendation. Not one.
My monster hasn't been made into a book yet. There were no bone daddies for me to froth over.
I debated for a while on whether or not I'd write them myself, but after reading Tiffany Roberts Ensnared, the first book of their Spidermate Trilogy, I thought... why not? If they could make a spider alien so smexy that even I loved it despite my fear of spiders, why couldn't I write the skull headed monster book I want to read?
So, I did. The Duskwalkers were partly inspired by Elias from The Ancient Magus' Bride and Wendigos. Although, my guys are very unique from both, as I'm the only one who has them have orbs that change colour depending on their emotions, become what they eat, gain humanity/intelligence by eating humans/intelligent creatures, and are soul eaters who bond by eating the soul of their chosen partner.
The world was inspired by the anime Demonslayer, as well as just goth, horror, cottagecore vibes.
I honestly thought no other Duskwalker could steal my heart from Orpheus from A Soul to Keep. He was the first one and the reason I'm still writing the series, but each one has stolen my heart as I've written them.
All the Duskwalkers are different, and we will continue to get variations of level of intelligence as we go through the series. Some will be smarter than others, but it's always the silly ones that will make me giggle the most - I'm excited to write more.
