As I was on the journey to becoming myself, unapologetically, I always thought, "What if....?" when the idea of writing a book would come up. I never thought it would actually come to fruition! My first book, "Seasons (I'll Be Seeing You): A collection of poems about heartbreak, healing, and redemption" was written between 2013 and 2020. I often describe these pieces as "poems I wrote in the dark" because were actually never meant to be seen. I wrote them as I navigated divorce, homelessness, job loss, racism in America, therapy, healing, and falling in love with myself. They are personal, raw, and filled with possibilities. I'm happy to put them out into the universe now <3
