When that happens I stop writing because forcing oneself is not a good thing for the quality of writing so it depends what type of block I need to clear but I certainly stop when I hit the block.

Continue writing as it’s the only way to great improvements and to develop your own style and stay away from people who say that you can earn a lot without any writing or that you can write a book in a month. It may be true for your first book because that’s in your mind but subsequent books will need deeper thinking and sometimes great efforts also.
