He's inspired by Lafayette yeah. When I was writing Dragon's Blood, the actor for Lafayette passed away. He was my favorite character so I had to do a character in the book that was inspired by him. Sam was originally supposed to be in there too(as Scott, Leland's boyfriend.) but i axed him and just made Leland the owner of the bar.

I'm so glad you liked it so much! I am having funding issues so I'm not sure when the rest will come out. I'm trying to figure something out though.

Right now I'm trying to get a series ready for publishing. Ra's pov is bubbling in my mind though, I might work on it for Nano this year. Depends on how badly burnt out I am by November, which is a sad reality for me lol I work until I just cant anymore.

I kept seeing Greek and Norse Mythology romances and I always wanted to read one where Egyptian gods were the focus so I wrote it. but I love mythology and learning about gods of all types so it was a story that just bled from me.

books for my kids mostly. I don't get a chance to read much with a 9 year old and a 1 year old. I spend my time writing or hanging out with my husband after they go to bed.

I was re-watching True Blood and as I do I create characters to self insert into the show. The story developed from there into its own thing.
