I just published a new book. I may work on another self-help book soon, but for now I'm back to writing short stories in order to keep the flow of ideas open.

I get inspired by real-life events most often. I'll take something that I know or encounter, then set up a premise about that event that could occur in a world that I'm writing about, or create a world around it that could result in a plot.

I was in a 3-year relationship with a narcissist. She was an amazing partner, but often said and did things that didn't make sense. After she discarded me as if I was a piece of trash, I had to find my own answers.
During this process I started making notes and working on the manuscript for my own closure, but when I got to seventy-ish pages, I realized this could not only help me obtain closure, but also others.
I polished it up into book form and I truly hope it is helping others.
