Read everything about everything and then read some more of the really unexpected stuff you wouldn't ordinarily touch .. After a while start writing scenes, imagined or seen .. Write as if to a good friend who knows you, so you are compelled not to pull punches regarding your deeper feelings .. Let yourself go emotionally .. Have fun about how (choose your adjective) you might be .. You stick w this or some similar program, you'd become a writer .. Bestseller-dom is up to the gatekeepers!

I'm making an apocalyptic science fiction tale that takes care of all Humanity's problems in one fell swoop that lasts three or so weeks .. it's not a comforting story for very many folks .. that's all i can say .. but the telling is great!

All sorts of experiences excite my imagination .. i have always been a day-dreamer, particularly if given a boring task, like listening to teachers, or washing dishes, or just walking the streets .. lots of special fun, this mental activity .. for example, i wrote my first published story, 'Ties', after i saw a report of a robbery of a numbers joint in my neighborhood, later that day l learned that the perps got clean away .. so i re-populated the newsprint version w admirable folks i thought would manage that job .. the first person personal POV was mainly an attempt to be part of the scene! .. as said, you read my fables (on website) you'll see the vast variety of stimuli that moves me!

Last september i was sitting on my terrace admiring my planter pots (5 of them) of ripening hot peppers when Trinidad's recent achievement of growing the hottest peppers on the planet occurred to me .. this set me to remember a neighbor who once started a pepper plantation, which set me off to thinking plantations and how they come about . . . which drifted on to making up a story of my friend as a farmer .. thinking that thru and peopling the story led me to create the characters, the closest to me being Andaluza, which led to Pinheiro being an associate of composer Granados . . . which sort of set the tone . . . then after a few months 'Peppers' had arrived wanting to be manicured here and there!
