Pay close attention to your surroundings. I've found great ideas from song lyrics, overheard conversations, scenes from movies, and stand-still moments in traffic. Ideas are everywhere, you just have to keep your eyes open to life.

Write every day! Try to get a full page done to keep yourself in the habit of creative thought and time management. We all find days that seem impossible to find the time or energy, but we must stay vigilant with our goals. The only way to get better is to practice, practice, practice!

Fortunately, I've never had writer's block. But I think the key to beating it is to write something, anything to get the creative juices flowing. Even if it's about something you did during the day can get the habit of writing going again.
