Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Dani Alpert I lived it and I thought it would make for an entertaining read.

How do you get inspired to write?
Dani Alpert I don't have any control over inspiration. It's one of those unexplained phenomenon and inexplicable. But when it comes, I stopped whatever it is that I'm doing and I jump on it.

Dani Alpert Promoting my memoir and writing guest articles for potential outlets.

Dani Alpert Write and don't listen to anyone during the early stages--no one!

What’s the best thing about being a writer?
Dani Alpert Making things out of nothing--seeing a kernel of an idea become a book that I hold in my hand or having a reader tell me that I've helped them in some way.

How do you deal with writer’s block?
Dani Alpert I write something other than what I'm working on or just I'll let it be. I'll shift into producer mode and focus on something that doesn't require too much brain power.
