Thanks for asking, Debbie. Right now I'm working on writing for Redemption Press's next SHE WRITES FOR HIM compilation. I'm also working on a Bible study - Striving for Excellence. I hope to be done with the writing part of both by the end of June. Then I have a work of fiction I've been thinking about and outlining. In a different world filled with shape shifters there's a prophecy and some bad guys and a hero. Stay tuned!

I'm actually more of a teacher than a writer. I write to teach. If I can help someone else with what I write, that's the best thing ever. Ever.

The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dog. The hippo went wacko with the vent yo. There are blue elephants in my livingroom.
Write something crazy into what you are writing. Then write something else that's crazy. Keep doing this until you get back on track and DON'T STOP UNTIL YOU ARE BACK ON TRACK.

If God has given you the gift of writing, don't ever give up. You'll know because you will feel the tug to write. You may not believe that you have anything worth saying. That's total crap from the enemy. Don't believe it. If you feel the tug, write. Pray and ask God for wisdom and write some more.

I have no problem sitting down and writing a few thousand words. The preparation is the key for me. I have to set up a schedule where I've made a deal with myself that writing is what I am doing for 'X' amount of time. Then I can get into a groove where the words just keep coming. I do get stuck on occasion and then I start typing what I'm feeling stream of consciousness style until I get back to the program.
