It's very simple. I just skip the part that I'm stuck on and write the stuff that is flowing. "I'll get back to that" is the slogan of writing a book for me. YOu just have to make sure you actually go back.

This is the most simple advice, but it never fails. WRITE! I started writing in the Marine Corps with a pencil and notebook I could fit in my pocket and it was absolute garbage. I remember finally deciding to write a book and thinking "well how in the hell am I going to do this?" Just like with everything else in life, I just started and figured the rest out as I went.

Right now I am about one hundred or so pages into the sequel to REM. For those who loved the first book, I gotta say that the sequel will top anything the first one had.

The idea took a long time to materialize. What was the driving force behind the idea of the story was that I knew exactly how to end the book. That scene in my head really drove to asking myself how I get to the end. After that, the big idea is like a snowball spiraling down a hill.
