I'm currently working on a couple of different projects - I have a fantasy novel I'm working on based on a short story I wrote; a nonfiction piece I'm collaborating with someone on; and I'm working on final clean ups for another book set in the same world as "A Scent of Roses," but more of an urban fantasy.

I set out to write what I'd call a creature feature - something that reminded me of old horror movies, the kind that terrified me as a kid. In particular, the Donald Sutherland remake of "Invasion of the Body Snatchers." There's something about fighting a terror that can be anyone, anywhere, that resonated with me.
