J. Akridge Hmm. This is a tough one. I'd probably go into one of my own worlds, because they seem fun and care free, even with the drama that comes.
J. Akridge I'm still struggling to figure this one out! A lot of time, for me anyways, and as much as I absolutely hate doing this, I walk away. Even if it's just a day, a week, or maybe it's a month or more. Usually that helps me, and then when I come back I haven't necessarily forgotten the story, but I've forgotten enough to need a refresher and when I re-read, new ideas begin to flow.
J. Akridge Just write it. Even if you think it's horrible, just write!
J. Akridge Telling a story. A story that I have imagined and watched play out in my head coming to life. That's the best.
J. Akridge One night began as a dream. Literally, a dream. I woke up in the middle of the night after dreaming about the main part of the story and decided to write it down before falling back asleep.
