Cynthia Beals I am working on my second novel. It is a sequel to my first book, Lost Without You. I also have another story that I want to start that I think it will either be a short story or novella.
Cynthia Beals A lot of my inspirations I get through personal experiences. It could be something I've seen or gone through myself and I start developing an idea about the situation or event.
Cynthia Beals I have a close family member who was in the military and went through a similar experience with their marriage, as have so many others in the military. Even though my family member fought for their marriage too it did not work out and I began to wonder what if the person who had left the marriage came back asking for forgiveness years later not only from their ex but another family member, like an ex mother-in-law...and that was the thread that got 'Lost Without You' started.
