Christopher Cole I would recommend making an outline. List all the major events that are going to happen in your story, that way you can transition one major event from another. Also, as you're writing the story it gives you time to develop and figure out if this is the way you want the story to go or if you prefer it go in a different direction. As you write your story, you begin to figure its identity.
