I've answered this question plenty of times, but I'll say this:
The goal IS to have book 5 be published. I'm not sure when. I took a long break from writing when I felt like I was going to quit, and my priorities are to finish books 4 and 5 of the forgotten village series.
I promise that I'll try to continue the Diamond City series either after or while I'm writing the forgotten village series.
Heck, I'll read over all my manuscripts for the past Diamond City books TODAY and try to see what writing a fifth would be like!

Hopefully February 1st. Was a bit of an accident when I put that date down in book 2, but I'll probably get there in time.

Just do it. It seems a lot harder than it really is - don't get me wrong, it still is challenging, but the first step to becoming an author is to actually write.
Stop holding off writing your first book - just give it a shot.
