Hearing my readers say awesome things about my stories, really gets me excited to write. Typically I will have a dream, and I take the bits and pieces of the dream and put together a story. I'm also inspired by old magic, pure love, connections between souls we as humans don't understand, fairies, unicorns, moss, acorns, wildlife. And Tala & Oink! My Alaskan Malamutes.

I am currently writing a novella called Someday. It is book two in my seasons of seduction collection. It's about Delilah and Mathew, who are fated to be together by the water goddess Melusine. But during their senior year, Mathew makes a decision that will cost both of them dearly. Of course, you'll have to read the book to find out the rest.

The best piece of advice I would give to an aspiring writer would be, write. Before your idea, your story flies away into the realm of the untold stories, write it down. Don't worry about your skills as a writer. Once it's written and you go into editing mode you can learn and grow your skills. But once the story has taken flight, and is lost in the land of the untold stories, you may or may not get it back. So just write the story your heart is telling.

When I find myself struggling with writer's block, I load Oink in the car and we head up towards the mountains. It never fails once I am away from the noise of everyday life, my stories begin flowing back to life.
