When will the 2nd book in the series of Ballads of Balahar" be available to the public? Please tell me the story, it will be about Shea and Gillie. I enjoyed the story and it kept me interested right on through and wanting more.
Deonne Williams Working on having it out this fall. Yes the story will continue the adventures of Shae and Gwynn. I am glad you enjoyed it :)

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?
Deonne Williams I can't tell you because I'm not sure. I think it goes back to loving old Celtic tales and a fascination with warrior cultures.

How do you get inspired to write?
Deonne Williams I don't have an answer to this one other than I just get the idea and go for it. Sadly, that is probably not a helpful answer but it is the answer that is true for me.

Deonne Williams The second book in my series.

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?
Deonne Williams It is all about getting the words actually written down. Do that, nothing else will take you from "aspiring writer" to "writer."

What’s the best thing about being a writer?
Deonne Williams Being able to tell people "I'm a writer" when they ask what you do.

How do you deal with writer’s block?
Deonne Williams I go do something physical instead of staring at my laptop screen. That might be go ride my horse, work in the garden or make cheese but those things often free up my mind and allow the ideas to flow again.
