What gives you inspiration?
Kelly Brady Channick I get inspired from a lot of things, but usually when I have a free moment and nothing to do, I feel my mind wandering and then I started asking “what if?” Or “why?” Usually I’ll either ask my husband and we have strange conversations or I write it down and see where the story unfolds.

What’s the best thing about being a writer?
Kelly Brady Channick Creating worlds in which I can temporarily escape from the real world, and get lost in my imagination.

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?
Kelly Brady Channick Write every single day! Then take a break from your 'completed' work for a little, and when you come back with fresh eyes, you will be surprised at how much you will improve your work.

What are you currently working on?
Kelly Brady Channick I am currently wrapping up book number four in my recently released Asbury High series-- an intriguing and humorous, young adult, mystery series.

If you could travel to any fictional book world, where would you go and what would you do there?
Kelly Brady Channick I would, without a doubt, jump into the Harry Potter world, and enroll in Hogwarts.
