Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Ethan Joella I started A QUIET LIFE because one morning I heard a man on the
boardwalk say he was making his first trip to Florida without
his wife who had died, and I couldn’t stop thinking about him. From that moment, I thought of Chuck Ayers in winter, walking around his house holding his wife Cat's favorite towel, which is where the novel begins.

Hi Ethan, I don't have a question, but I did want to share something with you and this is the only way I could find to contact you directly. I loved your book "A Little Hope," which you saw on my review. But what makes it even more special to me personally is that I was reading it when I found out I'm pregnant. I was recently remarried and this pregnancy holds its own "little hope." I'm out of space, so thank you! ?
