C.G. Moore Write. This may sound like silly advice but many writers have a tendency to edit while they're writing. These use two different parts of the brain and it can stifle your ability to write you story. Write, then edit.

Write from the heart and write what you know. If you're writing something that is not a lived experience or is something that you're not familiar with, make sure you research it well and have beta readers go through it and give you objective feedback.

Listen to constructive feedback. It's not personal and it's given with the aim of making your writing the strongest it can be. You don't have to accept all the feedback but it's important that you listen to it.
C.G. Moore When I first came out, I found it difficult to love and accept myself. I dated guys to try to find someone to love me the way I couldn't really love myself at the time. I think this is something we all crave and want, and when I sat down to write the book, this idea of dating and love gave me the idea. The events are fictional but the emotions come from a real place. I wanted to explore how we see how ourselves and what makes us who we are.
