Shawna Robison Young It started as a woman going to see a physical therapist who happened to be her old high school sweetheart. I started the book a few years ago. I believe I was in physical therapy at the time which led me to create Heather Meyers and Dr. Jack Jones (JJ). The story became its own and took spins and twist I never saw coming. Much like Heather (the heroine) I was caught off guard by Keith Meyers and the life Heather leaves behind.
Shawna Robison Young Most of the time it's a song or a true fact/reality that leads me to think how someone would handle it if they were going through that difficult situation.
Shawna Robison Young I'm finishing up the final touches for The Unsuspecting Heather Meyers and then I have several books waiting to be finished. My characters are ready for you to read their stories. Me too. :)
Shawna Robison Young If you love to write and create don't give up when you realize it's a lot more work and harder than you imagined. It will take a lot of blood, sweat, and tears and possibly years to perfect your craft and even then we can always learn more. Keep writing.
Shawna Robison Young Getting to imagine a world and people who come to life in my mind and heart.
Shawna Robison Young I listen to music and let it inspire me. I search for songs that fit the scene or mood.
