It depends on the nature of the writer's block! If I'm stuck in the middle of a story, it usually means I need to revisit the plot. Something's not working, something's moving in the wrong direction, I'm trying to force a character to do something they just wouldn't do. Once I take a step back and look at the plot, those instances of writer's block are easy to deal with.
If I'm having trouble finding inspiration before I even start plotting, I'll usually stop writing for a little while and switch to just reading. I read pretty quickly and I can easily devour a book in a day or two. Reading the wonderful worlds and stories that other authors comes up with tends to be pretty inspirational and helps to unclog the creative pipes.
Being creative in other ways helps, too. I like to sculpt with polymer clay, mess around with painting and photomanipulation in Photoshop, craft trinket boxes, upcycle... I have a lot of non-writing creative outlets that can help shift my focus away from writing, which often helps my subconscious to do its thing until I feel the words starting to flow again.
Oh, and never underestimate the power of a quiet walk in a pretty place!

Well, I *was* working on a fake engagement book, but people had such a great reaction to a couple of side-characters in Surprise Baby that I've decided to shelve the fake engagement book for just a minute to write their story. So look out for a great friends-to-lovers romantic comedy coming at you in the new year!

(view spoiler)[It happened to a friend of mine, years ago! She had a fling with a guy in March when she was on a short break. Fast forward to Christmas day when she starts getting abdominal pain that gets worse and worse. Thinking she has appendicitis, her family call the paramedics who arrive and deliver a healthy baby girl in short order!
I love the secret baby trope, and I thought this slight subversion of it would work really well for a Christmas story.
