Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Cécile Chabot My most recent book (The Merchant of Death- A Mayan Mystery) is the translation of my first book in French. There was no need for inspiration there, as I always wanted to publish in English, but a lot of work to get the translation right; to give it its own voice; to make it breath of its own life.
