Keep writing. Although your first draft or story might not be exactly how you imagined it, keep going. There's always time to go back to edit and get the story where it needs to be. Even if it takes months to get a chapter, a few words are better than a blank page.

Writer's block tends to happen quite often. A good solution for me is to browse photos or short stories on the internet or listen to music. Another good way that usually pulls me out a slump is to listen to podcasts on writing or folklore.

For me, one of the best parts about being a writer is being able to take readers into a world that you created. You lay the path out in front of them and lead them on an adventure, letting them share in all the twists and turns that you may or may not have known were coming.
