I don't usually get writer's block generally but I do get stuck in books sometimes. Switching it up and writing in another usually helps. I think for me when I get stuck, I am getting bored and being bored is going to make my book boring. When I come back to it, I am usually changing a few things with all the fresh new ideas I bring back to it.

For me, it is seeing all these stories I have told myself for years coming alive in new and exciting ways. I am a creative person by nature and my outlet is just to do my ideas. It doesn't matter if it is writing, or gardening, marketing, reviewing, or things with my kids. I take everything in and being a writer is just one thing I am.

When I first started writing, I thought I needed to know what I wanted to write and everything about the book. When I started writing all that change. New ideas came to me so fast and the stories change.
Now when I write, I go off of one idea and see where it leads. So just start writing and see what happens. Learn yourself with words.

I am currently rewriting some of my earlier works and getting them ready for release. I have about a dozen novels I have been writing over the last three years in my free time (which isn't much). Now that things have slowed down for me, I can focus on the second part and I hope to have them all out for readers within the next three years.

Everything inspires me. Ideas are always just popping up in my head, not just for books but in everything. It's like my mind is never settled unless it is looking for some kind of answer.

I was writing another book. I was needing a legend for another book I am writing called, "Breaking the Curse" (The Elemental Mage's) When it just seemed to hit me. I stopped the other book and started Celine's story feeling the need to get it right first. Hense the series, "The Elemental Chronicles).
