Charly Cox Oh my, what a great question. It's not that I haven't been asked that over time, but I honestly don't know. Who do you think would make a great Alyssa?
Charly Cox Hi Ethel! Thanks so much for this message. I love that you're enjoying the books! (I'm envious of your talent to make quilts. They're something I've always admired, especially when there's a story behind them.) Take care, and I do hope you'll continue enjoying the series.
Charly Cox Hi Jeri! Happy to see you were excited about The Dying Place coming out! It's available now, so hope you were able to get it. :-)
Charly Cox Hi Brian! Thank you! I'm so glad you're enjoying the series! And yes, The Dying Place will be available on Audible on May 9, 2023.

Charly Cox Hi Misty! So excited that you're loving the books. And as of right now, there is a plan for one more in this series. :-)
Charly Cox What a great question, and after days of thought, I'm not sure I have an answer for a specific "mystery" in my own life being the makings of a plot. That being said, All His Pretty Girls, the first book in the Alyssa Wyatt series stemmed from a moment when I took my vehicle in for maintenance, and a man came and sat right next to me in a very open waiting area. His conversation was friendly but a bit odd, and from there, my writer brain went to work, and a serial killer was born.
Charly Cox Hi Diane! Yes, this is a series. While each book could probably be read as a standalone, it might help you better understand the characters or certain references if you read them in the following order: All His Pretty Girls, The Toybox, and then Alone in the Woods.

I hope you enjoy the books. Take care.

Charly Cox Hello! Yes. I'm currently working on the third book in the series right now. 😊
Charly Cox There was a presence behind her a second before she was slammed to the ground, the air knocked out of her as someone whispered, "Nighty-night."

I know that voice, she thought as the darkness closed in around her.
Charly Cox So many different things. Sometimes it's something as simple as seeing someone walking down the road or hearing something on the news... or any number of things … and then suddenly my mind begins inventing a story out of it.
Charly Cox The second book to the Alyssa Wyatt: All His Pretty Girls series
Charly Cox Keep on keeping on. And listen to critique, not criticism! Critiques are there to help a writer improve. There will be a million times for a million reasons you'll want to give up. I encourage aspiring writers to ignore that voice. Just. Keep On. Keeping On.
Charly Cox Hoping that you'll be the person who gets to transport someone else to another place.
Charly Cox Wow. What a great question. And I don't know the answer. It would probably have to be somewhere warm and near the water, or maybe up in the mountains with lots of trees. And friendly elves, because it's fictional, and why not, right?
Charly Cox So many books and in so many genres. I'm really looking forward to The Invisibles by Rachel Dacus (out November 15) as well as The Tear Collector by Shawn Burgess.
Charly Cox Here's a link that will (hopefully) answer this question.
