James Roberts Ah, yes. That's always a tough situation. I like to take a break. When I come back, I start from the beginning and read through everything. /sometimes that helps me capture the flow of the story. If not, I may check out a different story I had an idea for. Sometimes distracting my mind for a bit is the best remedy for writers block.
James Roberts Writing for me is just awesome. I honestly don't even think I'm that good at it. Creating books though, is the one activity that motivates me more than any other. I just love it.
James Roberts Write every day. Write something. Write anything. If you get stuck somewhere, take a breather. Everything will be fine. Talk a walk outside or re-visit another project. Distract yourself for a moment. Then come back and continue.
James Roberts My next book will be titled, "Gina and the Marines"
James Roberts First, I have an idea, a main thought. That's the easy part. Honestly, after that, it's tough to get motivated. Mostly I think that stems from fear. Fear of not being able to allow this idea to blossom. That's irrational of course, but it's a hurdle I need to clear before I begin each book.
James Roberts That's always a tough question for me. I honestly don't know where the ideas come from. I tend to think it's just a big stew of life experiences. Suddenly, I have an idea for a book.
