P.C. Brown Usually I go to the beach or I don't look at my story for a few days. If I haven't worked on it its like my brain goes, "hold on where is the story?" and narrations start coming to me and play out in my head. But writers block for me comes when I have too much going on, so if I can distance myself from the other things, or if I can get those things done then I cleared my brain space so I can think.
P.C. Brown I live in my worlds because my characters take me there. It is amazing to create these worlds and be the first one to experience them. Also, it allows me to escape from reality for a few hours and just be in this other world. Stress of house work and other things just goes away for a few hours.
P.C. Brown Just write. Get the ideas down on the page and sort out the flow and grammar later. If you get hung up on the details you lose the flow of the story. And have fun. If you enjoy what you are doing then it is never a waste of time. Also, don't be afraid to be different. People want to read about different worlds and ideas. If you play it safe you may not achieve what you truly desire.
P.C. Brown I am working on the second novel of the Locrian series, playing with the title still but I have been able to write almost three chapters so far. I am hoping for an early 2020 release.
P.C. Brown I love to write by the water, it really helps me with creativity. But on a daily basis I could be zoned out in the shower and the story line pops into my head, or I have a dream and I have to write it down right away.
P.C. Brown I have always been inspired by Ireland. I feel that if you get the chance to go you will see that magic is alive there and I wanted to set my book there from the beginning. In terms of the story line I wanted to write about nature and the earth and beings that protect all creatures. The details came as I was writing. I don't always know where my characters will take me, sometimes I feel like they have a life of their own, but I believe that they took me to a wonderful place for Locrian.
