Robin W. Pearson Right now, I'm working on my second novel with Tyndale. My character thought she'd let go of her past, but she's realizing that she'd handcuffed herself to it.
Robin W. Pearson Daily life! The interaction between my little people, the way the trees bend when the wind gusts, our homeschool life, how Hubby can sleep through anything... It all motivates me to write it down, to show how these common, everyday events relate to some divine purpose in our lives. Finding inspiration isn't the problem; finding the time to share it...now, there's the problem!
Robin W. Pearson My posts and my fiction are my mission trips, taking me to distant places and connecting me with new people. I use my writing to build relationships, inspire, and share my faith. To build bridges.
Robin W. Pearson I do other "writerly" activities: work on Goodreads, read books on my list, chat with my online friends and followers--and moan, complain, and pray. I keep my laptop open and reread earlier pages. Often, that gets the juices flowing.
Robin W. Pearson Don't try to write what's popular or current--go with what you know. And write often. I keep small journals with me so I can jot down ideas and thoughts about future blog posts, book titles, plot twists for my WIP, etc. I just wish these journals were waterproof since I seem to get my best ideas in the shower!
