A favorite genre to write? I actually love writing short stories. I'll get back to it after I get my WIP out of my head. It's about a student I had who saw the world upside down. Launching in December, hopefully. For writing workshops, I like The Writer's Workshop at Authors Publish. It's ongoing, and I can do it at my leisure. https://authorspublish.thinkific.com/...

(view spoiler)[Dear Janet, just wanted to let you know that I finished your book and loved it. I have left you a review on Goodreads and Amazon. Reach out to me at wiggintondiane@gmail.com and let me know what you think and where you would like me to send you a copy of A Compromising Position for your review. I'm still planning to have it available December 6th and will be downloading files soon on Amazon for Pre-orders? (hide spoiler)]

The death of my father. Too many lies and too many unanswered questions. I'd love to partner with John Grisham or James Patterson to write the mystery.

I never have writer's block. I sit down at my computer and the words go immediately from my head to the keyboard. No offense, but the term "writer's block" seems to me to be synonymous with "procrastination." That often comes from a lack of self-confidence or fear.

The JOY of getting all that stuff rolling around in your head out on paper. Also, the JOY of sharing that with readers.

Quit second-guessing yourself. I don't believe in "writer's block." Find the best time for you. Find the best media for you (computer, paper and pen or pencil). Let the writing flow as if you were talking to a friend. Don't worry about fleshing it out until later. Don't worry about editing until later. All the mechanics and details can come later. Just write!

I'm writing the love story of my parents during World War II. I love being in their heads and am focused on being true to their personalities and the chemistry they shared. I hope to publish it the spring of 2020.

I love being in the zone. When I sit down at my computer, the writing comes. The story tells itself to me.

After teaching for 35 years, I felt compelled to write the stories that were in my head. Beyond that, I have a passion for helping teachers and students find JOY in the learning process.
