My Da used to tell me "a writer writes" and encourage me to write every day, whatever was going on in my mind. And so.... my advice to aspiring writers is my Da's. Too many people get bogged down comparing themselves to others and they lose focus. You're an artist, create. The rest falls into place.

I was always a "space cadet" - daydreaming instead of focusing on school, work, etc. If I could escape to fantasy, I would. And so inspiration comes from the most tedious and boring things in life - because it propels me to my fantasy world. That said, I owe SO MUCH to my co-author, Connal, without whom I would never have started putting all of this to paper. We inspire each other.
