Barbi Cox My most recent series is Romance Goals.

Book 1 starts with a hot soccer player and his curvy next-door neighbor. They hate each other because Max is a loud obnoxious player.

My dad was an AYSO coach when I was a kid. Women went insane for him. He had a bit of an Elvis look with a European flair. His first language was German and he had a Kicker magazine that my Oma would send him regularly. My dad was truly a soccer fanatic that would take my mother and me to Earthquake games in San Francisco. My favorite part was Crazy Charlie and the roar of the crowd.

My mother was British, from Liverpool. When she had a few drinks you could really hear her Brit take over. My character Teddy is the bad boy version of my mother after a few hot toddies as she used to call them.

My husband is from a family of tall good looking people and I always battled my weight but, my husband was just like Max when we met. He pretty much claimed me instantly and he never let me go. I'm older and his parents were not too into that so you can see a little bit of some actual dialogue as a result of them not being too supportive.

People that are upset about the way Valerie was treated, well all of that is real and the way I've been treated my entire life. I'm probably not the only one to experience that type of pain. That seemed to bother quite a few readers but, I wanted to keep that part real and show how I dealt with it. The characters that said mean things and tweeted mean things etc. they were replacements for the people I worked with that I went to school with and even so-called friends that got great enjoyment taking me down a peg.

The date that I took Max and Valerie on is an actual date that my husband planned for us. He made the mistake of bringing a picnic basket with two bottles of wine and I drank too much and started to have way too much fun so he had to shush me quite a bit but it was so much fun and something we still look back on to this day. It is eighteen years later and my husband still does not take his eyes off of me.
Barbi Cox I wish that I could. I currently live in Oregon and the Canadian border is closed. I have family there that I would love to visit.
Barbi Cox I just finished Claimed by Him and right now I am working on a Yacht Club Romance. This one is so much fun and I am IN LOVE with my characters. She's a social media influencer and he's the owner of the Yacht Club. The title of this book turned out to be The Billionaire's Obsession.
