I just had a beer in my hand, where did I set it down? Seriously though, far too many for me to ever write about all of them. There is a 'Black Widow' case I've been involved in off and on that started in 1984 with the murder of a local rancher and since then two other men have died under questionable circumstances. That case is obviously work related. If you mean my personal life, I had a great uncle who was murdered over a card game in a neighboring county which was never really investigated.

Some may sit around and wait to be struck with inspiration. I find that the best thing to do is just to write. If it's crap, then you can always throw it out later. Just write.

I got the basic idea for Roland from the very old tale 'The Song of Roland' and Stephen King's stories about the Gunslinger. From that basis, I built an pen and paper RPG character that I have been playing since 1996. The books are based on that character's adventures.
